For the base directory, accept /u01/app/oracle/orainventory

For Unix group, accept dba

When prompted to do so, log in as root in another window and run the orainstRoot.sh script as instructed (figure 1.0).

Other values to accept include:
Source Directory: wherever your staging area happens to be
Destination name: OraHome920
Destination path: /u01/app/oracle/product/9.2.0
Product to install: Oracle 9i Database 9.2.0.4.0
Type of installation: Enterprise Edition
Database Configuration: software only

Installation begins at 16:14

Link stage completes at 16:25.
